I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Monday 25th Aug

Will be doing this challenge shopping in New York with my wife for our Golden Wedding, around the deck of the Queen Mary 2 on our way home, in Frinton on sea where we live and guiding school groups around the WW1 battlefields of France and Belgium. Anyone else beat that?

Good luck Alain. . Having my mother-in-law living with us with Demenia is not easy. You have to put your life on hold to look after her. 15 mins later, she would have forgotten the conversation you've just had, and ask the same questions over and over again.
