💙🏊‍♀️ I’m taking on Swim for Dementia! 🏊‍♀️💙

Everyone who knows me knows that my disability can be a real barrier, so taking on this challenge is a big step for me. Alongside my weight loss journey, I want to keep moving forward and see what I can achieve, at my own pace.

There’s also a very personal reason behind this challenge — my mum had dementia and has sadly passed away. Seeing someone you love live with dementia brings home just how much it affects them and everyone around them.

I’ll be swimming in memory of my mum, carrying her with me through every length. This challenge is for her, and for all the families affected by dementia. 💙
