In Loving Memory

In August 2024, we said goodbye to my wonderful mum after her long and courageous journey with dementia. Watching someone you love slowly change in ways you can’t control or fix is heartbreaking beyond words. Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed – it touches the whole family, reshaping daily life, relationships, and the future you once imagined.

I’m raising money and awareness for Dementia UK in memory of my mum, and in support of all the families who are facing this cruel disease right now. Throughout her illness, we experienced the confusion, the frustration, the moments of fear – but also the importance of compassion, patience, and specialist support.

The work that Dementia UK does through their Admiral Nurses provides expert guidance and emotional support to families when they need it most. No one should have to navigate dementia alone.
