Walk 50 Miles in January 2026

I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK

This January, I'm walking 50 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Update

Thursday 29th Jan
Toughest walk yet, Malvern Hill did not make it easy… …but I did it and reached the summit right up in the clouds 🌫️💨

I’ve now walked 66.18 miles in total and thanks to your incredible support I have now raised £260 so far 💙

Every mile is for those living with dementia and their families, and knowing it helps make the tough days worth it. Thank you to everyone who’s donated, shared, and cheered me on.  It genuinely means the world.

Still a few days left to keep going… onward! 🙌🧠💙

‘In their memory’

Tuesday 23rd Dec
We are taking part in ‘Walk 50 Miles this January’ to raise money for dementia in memory of our grandad, who sadly passed away from the disease in April 2023.
Dementia affects not only those diagnosed, but also their loved one & families, and seeing it’s impact firsthand has inspired us to support this cause in any way possible.
Any donation, big or small, will help fund vital research, care, and support for those affected by dementia.

We will be tracking our progress throughout January & would love if you could show your support in any way possible!

Thank-you!
