I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

I’m doing this fundraiser challenge in memory of my Nanny Doris, who battled dementia and who we sadly lost in 2022.

I was lucky enough to spend 19 years with her, making memories and sharing so many laughs. I watched dementia not only affect my Nanny, but also our family around us.

It was heartbreaking watching someone I loved so deeply change because of this cruel disease, and it’s something that has stayed with me.

I’d like to raise as much money as I can to hopefully help support those suffering with dementia, as well as the families who are affected by it too.

This one is for you, Nanny Doris. 

I’m also taking on this challenge for my wife’s grandad Kenny who is currently living with dementia.
