This post comes a little late as I actually started this challenge on Monday but just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to anyone who doesn’t know me!

I am an Adult Social Care Assessor with my local authority so have contact with families living with dementia on a daily basis and have seen first hand the difference that dementia UK makes to dementia patients and their families. And as if I need any more reason to feel so passionately about this cause, my husband and I also care for a family member who was recently diagnosed with Vascular Dementia.

Dementia UK, offer in person support groups, education sessions, social events, telephone support lines, admiral nurses and numerous forms of online or written information and guidance for families living with a dementia diagnosis.
