I'm taking on Fans vs Dementia

During a 90-minute match, 30 people in the UK will develop dementia.

I’m taking on Fans vs Dementia and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support as i take on this challenge,as some of you know i run a mens mental health group called WALK IT OFF MATE,on this journey i met a lovely couple who were going through there own challenge of dealing with dementia,frontotemporal dementia which is a rare form which typically starts at a younger age between 45-60,it develops slow  meaning the symptoms tend to increase over a long period of time,i could'nt offer a normal walk with the lads at walk it off mate because he is restricted to time and a routine that makes it easier for him to cope,so with that and going to see them a couple of times ive found myself enjoying there company and we worked out a system where i can go pick him up and go for a walk,this amazing chap who i found has so many common interests with me just wants to take a walk and talk about normal stuff,getting a bit of his life back,ultimately this illness is terminal and after hearing his story and his wifes i couldnt sit back,knowing that he wants to do some mad activity to get frontotemporal dementia more recognised which i know he will do,my mens mental health walking group is something that means alot to me and to other people but without this i wouldnt of met my new mate and his lovely wife, please please make a donation as i do this walk,i hope to raise as much as i can,i dont know how long this will take but i will see this till the end,my plan is to walk from spalding united fc to another football ground which i will let you know shortly,thank you for taking the time to have a read,
