I'm walking 62 miles in May
Our families and friends have begun to realise and experience just how cruel this disease is, with the normal not being SO normal anymore and the things that we all take for granted not being present.
It is frustrating and absolutely devastating to watch and to have watched family members suffer in this way from this cruel disease.
In light of this we (2 Old Crocks, according to me 🤣) have decided to challenge ourselves to walk 62 miles in May in memory of loved ones and help raise money to enable the dedicated nursing teams to continue supporting families affected by dementia with the help and advice needed.
We would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!
