I'm running 100K for Dementia UK
This February, I'm running 100K and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Monday 10th Feb The first 20km reached and completed, very behind where I wanted to be at this period of the month but was very rough with refreshers week. Semester 2 started and back to routine, should be able to drastically bump up the number of runs and the km reached during the runs.

Friday 24th Jan After smashing the target of £250 and receiving 17 (!) sponsors in less than 24 hours, I have updated my target goal to £ 400- a figure which would be absolutely insane to reach. My gratitude cannot be measured, and I am extremely happy with how the fundraiser is going thus far. Share
