Fundraising and Challenge FAQs
How do I sign up?
To sign up to the challenge, register for your FREE running buff and fundraising pack here.
When you register, your fundraising page will be automatically set up for you.
Where and when is the challenge?
This is a virtual challenge for everyone so you can do this throughout February at the best time for you. You can do this in your local area, park or gym. You can do this together with your friends and family.
Is there an entry fee?
Taking part in the Run 100K in February Challenge for Dementia UK is free!
Is there a fundraising target?
There is no fundraising target for this challenge – we just ask you to raise as much as you can for families affected by dementia.
How do I get my free running buff?
Once you register for the challenge and set up a fundraising page we will send you your free running buff. Please note it takes up to two weeks to be delivered.
Can I raise money offline with a sponsorship form?
You certainly can. We’ll send you a sponsorship form with your fundraising pack, but if you need more than one form, simply download and print more copies here.
How can I send in sponsorship money I’ve collected offline?
The easiest way to send cash donations to Dementia UK is by donating to your online fundraising page. Alternatively, you can:

Send in a cheque made payable to Dementia UK. Enclose a note including your full name, the email address that you used to register for your running buff, and an explanation that you raised the money for the Run 100K in February Challenge. Post it to us at:

How do I keep track of how many kilometres I've done?
Strava is a free, easy to use app that can track your kilometers throughout February. We highly recommend downloading it for this challenge. You will also receive an Run 100K in February tracker with your fundraising pack, which you can use to tick off your kilometres.
