I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

October 75 mile challenge

Saturday 20th Sep

This October, me and Callie will be walking 75 miles to raise money for dementia support and research. This is a cause very close to my family’s heart as my Dad has been diagnosed this year.

Walking for him, and for everyone affected by this illness, feels like a small way we can make a difference. Dementia doesn’t just change the lives of those diagnosed, but also impacts their families and friends in ways that are hard to put into words.

By joining this walk, I want to honour my dad, raise awareness of the challenges that come with dementia, and help support the incredible work being done to fund research and provide care. Every step Callie and I take is a step towards hope, progress, and better support for families like mine.

If you are able to, please support us with a donation. Your kindness will help give families living with dementia more moments of joy, comfort, and connection
