Walking Together Through Dementia
This October, I’ll be taking on the challenge of walking, running and hiking 62 miles to raise vital funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. I’d be incredibly grateful for your support, whether that’s through a donation or simply sharing my fundraising page.
Dementia is a cause that is very close to my heart. I have family members who are currently living with dementia, as well as loved ones we have sadly lost to the disease. Seeing the impact dementia can have on individuals and their families has inspired me to raise awareness and support those affected by this devastating condition.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference. For example, £33 could help fund an hour of support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse for a family in the community, providing practical advice, guidance and emotional support when they need it most.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me on this challenge. Every donation and share means more than you know. 💜
