I'm taking part in the November Swim Challenge

I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

This is a cause very dear to my heart as my beloved Dad died from dementia.  It is a devastating disease and it is so hard to watch the person you love gradually loosing their memories.

Hurrah! 10k done💦

Friday 28th Nov
Last 1k done today, hurrah!  I have achieved my 10k goal but havent quite reached my £250  target.  Between my online sponsors and those on my sponsorship form I have currently raised £170.  It would be great to achieve my target and every penny helps.

Friday 14th Nov
Half a month gone and I am just over half way there at 5.1 kilometers 😊🏊. 

3 kilometres down, 7 to go!

Friday 7th Nov
Well here I am at the end of week one and I have managed to get 3 kilometres completed.  Feel quite proud of myself as that's 120 lengths of the pool.  The first 2 kilometres were really hard and I struggled, but today's swim of 42 lengths went really well ( I am sure my Dad gave me a talking to 😊🏊).    My breathing felt much easier today so the asthma is improving and my hip is definately beginning to feel stronger.
