I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Great cause Stuart. I was custodian for my aunt and uncle in specialist dementia care locally in Ilkeston - both in their 90’s. To visit and see how they had been robbed of precious memories was heartbreaking. It was with great sadness I lost them both within circa 6m and I had the added sad task of attsnging both funerals. I’ve only donated a token amount as we raised and donated for both my aunt and uncle and split it 50/50 between dementia uk and Alzheimer’s society. Good luck with the fundraising for your mum.
