I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Why I'm Walking 60 Miles for Dementia UK
Sunday 31st MayThis June, I'm taking on Dementia UK's Walk 60 Miles Challenge.
Dementia is a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. Through my work in care, I see every day the impact dementia has on the people living with it and the families who love and support them. It can be a confusing, frightening and often overwhelming journey, not just for the individual, but for everyone around them.
On a personal level, my own grandmother lives with Alzheimer's disease, so I have seen first-hand how dementia can change lives. It is a condition that touches millions of families across the UK, yet many people face it feeling isolated and unsure where to turn for help.
That is why I am supporting Dementia UK and their Admiral Nurses. These specialist dementia nurses provide expert advice and practical support to families when they need it most, helping them navigate the challenges that dementia brings.
Throughout June, I will be walking 60 miles to raise funds for this vital work. Every mile represents the determination, resilience and strength shown by those living with dementia and the people who care for them.
If you are able to support me, I would be incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter the size. Together, we can help ensure more families have access to the expert support they deserve.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your support.
