I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Friday 28th Nov Wow what a what to finish my 10k challenge followed by a sauna and ice bath. Thank you so much for all my donations x Share

Thursday 27th Nov Change of plan this morning and 0.5 k completed. So last swim will now be tomorrow. Share
Penultimate swim
Wednesday 26th Nov Penultimate swim 0.5 with a sauna half way through and lowest ever temp I have swam in this country at 4.9. Last swim of my challenge and season tomorrow. Share
Dementia 10k swim
Monday 24th Nov On the home straight now. This is the last week my local outdoor pool is open before it closes for the winter. Started the week off with a 0.5 k swim. Having to do shorter swims now as the water temp is around 5.6 degrees. 1.5 k to go. Share
Dementia UK 10k swim
Friday 21st Nov Huge temperature drop this week. 2k to go to reach my goal. Doing 0.5 k each session now with a sauna in between. Lowest temp has been 6.8 with some sleet & ice on the poolside thrown in. Share
Over half way
Sunday 16th Nov The air temperaturenis getting cooler but the pool is getting warmer! 1.5 kms completed today. 6.5 in total 3.5 to go. Share

Wednesday 5th Nov Started Bonfire Night with a bang! 1st 1k completed. Pool temp 12.5. Sauna & ice bath to finish. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
