I'm walking 62 Miles in October
I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!

🚶♀️ Walking to Make a Difference: My 62k Challenge for Dementia Awareness
Tuesday 23rd SepThis October, I’m taking on a challenge that’s close to my heart – walking 62k miles to raise money and awareness for dementia. 💜
Dementia affects millions of people and their families every single day. It’s not just memory loss – it impacts relationships, independence, and quality of life. Research, support services, and early interventions are crucial, and that’s why I’m lacing up my trainers and stepping out to make a difference.
Every mile I walk is for someone living with dementia, for the families who care for them, and for a future where we understand this condition better.
✨ How You Can Help:
- Sponsor me: Your donation, big or small, will go directly to supporting dementia research and vital services.
- Share my journey: Spread the word so we can raise as much awareness as possible.
- Walk with me (virtually or locally): Every step counts – let’s make this a team effort!
Together, we can take steps toward a brighter future for those affected by dementia.
