I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with Lola this October, in loving memory of my wonderful father-in-law , Joe ❤️ and raising funds for families affected by dementia. 

Any donation would be very much appreciated. 

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

It was a very wet final walk but I’m delighted to say we’ve completed the challenge and met the target with 5 days to spare! Thank you so much to everyone who donated, it means so much. Sharron and Lola ❤️🐾

Full disclosure - today’s walk was me alone, as poor Lola still has a wee sore leg so I left her to rest at home today. I’m sure she will be back with me soon!

Lola was enjoying her walk but unfortunately, shortly after this photo was taken she’s injured her leg. She’s doing ok but I’ll not be walking her while she’s still showing it’s sore.

Lola had a cosy, restful afternoon after being soaked on our walk! Her basket is lying two feet away from her but she likes the danger of lying behind a closed door 😂
