I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK

This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

31 miles of healing

Walking 31 Miles for Dementia. Team CHADSOFFICIAL
In May, I’m taking on a personal challenge walking 31 miles to raise money and awareness for people affected by Dementia.
But this isn’t just about the distance.
May is also a very significant month for me personally. It marks the time when my brother, Chad, was taken from us. That loss changed everything, and it’s something I carry with me every day.
So this walk is more than a fundraiser it’s a way of honouring him.
Dementia is a condition that affects so many individuals and families, impacting memory, independence, and everyday life. Supporting this cause means standing with those going through something incredibly difficult just as many families, including mine, have faced life-changing moments.
At the same time, this journey is also about my own wellbeing.
Recently, I’ve been carrying a lot mentally, emotionally, and physically. This walk is my way of creating space to process, reflect, and move forward with purpose. Each mile is a step not just for awareness, but for healing too.
I’ll be walking as part of Team CHADSOFFICIAL, proudly carrying Chad’s name forward in a way that creates something positive.
What This Walk Represents
Every mile I walk will stand for:
Remembering Chad and honouring his life
Supporting those affected by dementia
Strength, healing, and moving forward
Turning pain into purpose
How You Can Support
If you’re able to support, I would truly appreciate it:

Your support means more than just a donation it means standing with me, and with everyone affected by dementia.

For Chad. For awareness. For healing.
