Sammie & Jasper taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge
Last year, my favourite person in the world, my Nan, was diagnosed with the most progressive form of dementia. Nothing prepares you for the pain of watching someone you love suffer with this illness.
My Nan has the biggest heart, she is funny, caring and nothing makes her happier than seeing everyone around her happy and doing well.
My nan has always inspired me to be there for others, to help people and to always be kind. She really is one of a kind. Therefore, I am walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for all families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!
