I'm taking part in the November Swim Challenge
I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK, swimming 15km throughout the month to raise vital funds for families affected by dementia.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart, my Dad suffered from dementia and sadly passed away. It’s a painful, devastating disease that doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed, but the whole family who care for them.
Every pound raised will help fund Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses, who provide families with both emotional support and practical advice when they need it most. Just £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist nurse, helping a family navigate the toughest moments.
