Why do we fund raise?

Sunday 1st Nov
I have used swimming as a means to exercise for my own well being. I'm told all the time recently to look after myself, you come first, your health matters. Especially as I seem to suffer with low mood. I get a lot of enjoyment from seeing people succeeding, with the knowledge I might have been able to have given them a nudge in the right direction. So lacking the motivation to do something for myself, I'm trying to multi task. Let's raise money for research into cancer, into dementia and let's get sorted from mental illness. Close to my heart and, one day closer to a cure.
