I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Last swim to get me to 10km
Saturday 22nd Nov Sunday 23rd November at 11am in Keepers Pond will be my last swim (hopefully) to get me to 10km in aid of Dementia UK. I can not thank everyone who has supported and sponsored me through some really horrible weather conditions. Please share my fundraising page to your friends and family todays swim was tough with the water temp at 3.5°c and the air temp at 5°c . Bring on tomorow..... Share
Half way there!!!!! 5KM down and 5KM to go
Sunday 9th Nov So i'm half way through my 10KM swim. Ive been lucky i've had a weeks holiday so all that water in a week was....... wet. I have had a few grim swims where the weather was against me and waves in a pond really do exist. Between the rain and the rolling fog its been quite an adventure. I would realy like to thank my spotters and supporters. You dont realise the encouragement has been worth every mouthful of water and what the heck am I doing moments. Thank you so much for all the very generous sponsorship that i have recieved its really quite overwhelming. Online is currently at £345 and in work its nearly at £500 Im am going to try and raise £1000 by the end of November. 5 more swims to go... watch this space....... ShareThank you to my Sponsors
