I'm doing 10,000 steps a day in June

I’m doing 10,000 steps a day in June and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Halfway Milestone: 182,562 Steps and Still Going Strong! 👟💙

Wednesday 18th Jun

From that first coastal walk to now, every step has been a reminder of why this challenge matters.

I’m halfway through the 10,000 Steps a Day Challenge for Dementia UK, and I’ve already logged 182,562 steps. It’s been more than just a fitness goal—it’s been about building new habits, enjoying the journey, and supporting a cause that touches so many lives.

Let’s keep stepping forward—together. 💙🧠👟

My First Walk for Dementia UK 🌊👟- 1st June

Monday 2nd Jun

Yesterday, I kicked off the June Workplace Challenge—10,000 steps a day to support Dementia UK—with a beautiful seaside walk. The weather was perfect, the views were stunning, and every step felt meaningful.

Walking by the sea reminded me why I’m doing this: to support families affected by dementia and raise awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.

One walk down, many more to go. Let’s keep stepping forward—together. 💙
