I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK
This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

A journey we will never get over
Tuesday 28th Apr Mum was officially diagnosed in May 2023 aged 71,but looking back little signs where there we just didn't know,Dementia took mum quickly and by the end of August 2023 mum was moved to a care home,that day was a day I will never forget,it absolutely broke my heart.This whole journey has been absolutely heartbreaking, from the crap care home mum was in (in a new one now)to just how much this awful disease hit so quickly 💔 mum has been nonverbal for over a year now ,and the only things she has left is some mobility and still eating and drinking.
