I’m Swimming 15km This November for Dementia Research — in Memory of My Grandad
Tuesday 7th OctThis November, I’ll be swimming 15km for dementia research in memory of my grandad. He loved swimming — it was his happy place — so this challenge feels like the perfect way to honour him. 💙
Dementia changed our family forever. Watching him go through it was heartbreaking. Dementia isn’t just part of ageing — it’s a disease, and diseases can be fought.
Every stroke I swim will be for my grandad, and for every family still living with this cruel condition.
