I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Why I’m Walking for Dementia UK
Saturday 19th SepIt was a slower start than I had planned, but I’m really pleased to have now completed 10 miles of my 30-mile challenge for Dementia UK.
I’m determined to complete the remaining 20 miles and reach my full target by 30 September!
I’m doing this for every person I have had the privilege of supporting throughout my 20+ years working in care, as well as all those I will support in the future. I have seen first-hand how dementia affects not only the person living with it, but also their family and loved ones.
Every mile helps raise awareness and vital funds so that more families can access the specialist advice and support they need - and so that, one day, nobody has to face dementia alone.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and donated so far. Your encouragement will help keep me going for the next 20 miles!
