I'm taking part in the November Swim Challenge
🏊♀️ I’m swimming 10K for Dementia UK 💙
This November, I’m taking on my first ever sporting challenge - swimming 10 kilometres - to raise money for Dementia UK.
My family has been hit hard by dementia, with three diagnoses in recent years. Both of my step-parents have been touched by it with their mums, and most recently my beautiful Nan has been diagnosed too. It’s been truly devastating and has affected everyone in the family.
Dementia can make you feel so helpless, and I wanted to do something to help in some small way. So, I’m pushing myself out of my comfort zone (way out!) to take on this challenge.
Those who know me will know this isn’t going to be easy.. it’s a big physical and mental challenge for me but I’m determined to do it.
Your support, whether through donations, sharing, or a few words of encouragement, will mean the world to me and will help Dementia UK continue their amazing work supporting families like mine. 💙
