I'm knitting everyday in November for Dementia UK

This November, I'm taking on the Dementia UK November Knitting Challenge by knitting every day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone.

Dementia affects millions of people, changing lives in ways that can be overwhelming and heartbreaking. That's why I'm supporting Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Their Admiral Nurses provide expert advice, practical support and compassionate guidance to families when they need it most.

Just £33 could fund a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour supporting a family, helping them understand their options, cope with difficult situations and feel less alone.

My name is Nicky and I work in a care where nearly all residents have dementia. Some days are hard and some are full of fun. No two days are the same.
It’s a terrible thing and slowly destroys the person one day at a time.
I have been knitting since I was 8years old and I want to raise money to help everyone who lives with and cares for a loved one with dementia. Please support us all in raising funds to support this worthy cause
