I'm doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK

I’m taking on The 36 Hole Challenge and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

£19 could pay for the telephone costs of five families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support.

£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

What is dementia?

Dementia is the UK's biggest killer.

Dementia is not a normal part of ageing and its not just about forgetting things. It is a group of symptoms caused by different diseases that damage the brain. The symptoms get worse over time and include:

- memory loss
- confusion and needing help with daily tasks
- problems with language and understanding
changes in behaviour
