I'm walking 62 miles in May

Hi everyone. I've signed up to do this in May, walking every day. If you can spare a quid, or even more if you like, then I'd be delighted if you'd sponsor me. My original personal target was to raise a humble £62, and many kinds donations have already helped me achieve that. Dementia affects so many people in so many ways now. It's a good cause. Go on, put me under pressure to get it done. :) Thanks.

Enjoying the walking

Saturday 17th May
Another 10 days and a few more miles. Last Saturday we started in Shepherd's Bush. One short Tube stop to get to Notting Hill, but then walked everywhere for the rest of the day. The market, Portobello Road, and such a lovely stroll along the avenues, all the way back to Shepherd's Bush. May have stopped off at a pub on the way :) 4.5 miles in all. Good for the body, mind and soul. Then the regular 2 in the morning and 2 at lunchtime when at home. Usually manage to get 2 in somewhere when in the office. 48 miles in total in May so far!

Where did those 6 days go???

Tuesday 6th May
It was only a short 1.6 miles on the first day, very warm in the sun, taking in some local historical architecture along the way. A couple of walks on Friday 2nd May: 2.4 miles first thing in the morning (in woolly hat and gloves!) plus another 1.3 for the lunchtime break. Early Saturday, another 2.3 around the orchards and village, popping in to see Dad along the way, plus another 1.2 later on to check in on my bro's cat. Sunday another 2.4 early doors, and same again Monday Bank Holiday. Then today a couple of miles at lunchtime plus another 1.3 on a shorter circuit around the orchards this evening. I think that's 16.9 miles so far?
