November Knitting Challenge 2026

I'm knitting everyday in November for Dementia UK

This November, I'm taking on the Dementia UK November 2026 Challenge by sewing or crocheting every day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I am making as many twiddle mitts as I can. Everything I make will be donated to people with dementia along with any sponsorship money going to Dementia UK.

Dementia affects millions of people, changing lives in ways that can be overwhelming and heartbreaking. At my age, I have seen elderly relatives of friends and family impacted by dementia. It’s not just the impact on those suffering from dementia but also how it impacts their family too. That's why I'm supporting Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Their Admiral Nurses provide expert advice, practical support and compassionate guidance to families when they need it most.

Just £33 could fund a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour supporting a family, helping them understand their options, cope with difficult situations and feel less alone.

Thank you for helping me make a difference this November. Your support means so much. 💙
