I'm doing a Dip for Dementia UK
This winter, I'm doing a dip and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Tuesday 29th SepDonna’s Dippers 💙
This one is for Mum.
Mum, Donna, has dementia, and anyone who has lived alongside it knows how much it changes things. For her, for Dad, for us, and for the whole family.
So my sister and I have decided to do something different in her name…
Donna’s Dippers.
I’ll be getting into the freezing cold water, while my sister has sensibly volunteered to be in charge of the hot tea & towels and making sure we all survive 😂
And we’ve got some lovely people joining us too… the more the merrier!
It’s going to be cold, probably involve a fair bit of swearing, and hopefully a lot of laughing.
But most importantly, it’s something we can do together, for Mum.
For the woman she is, the memories we have, and all the families living with dementia every single day.
This one’s for you, Mum. 💙
