I'm walking 50 Miles in January for Dementia UK
My dearest Mother lost her battle with Lewy Bodies Dementia four and a half years ago.
My family and I were in no way prepared for what was in store after her diagnosis.
I was naiive in hopes that she would improve and was ultimately devastated when she left us. Still am.
I run little charity events in the pub raising money for Lewy Bodies Society but any fundraising is essential for any variation of dementia.
I signed up for this challenge to help with awareness of this awful condition, to help find treatments, help families understand and support them, to support those amazing nurses and carers in any way I can.
It's an awful illness. Awful!
The pain of those left behind is sometimes unbearable.
I am reaching out to see who might wish to join me and/or perhaps a little donation.
Wishing you and your family all the best love!
Many, many thanks,
Michelle 💜
