I'm walking 62 miles in May
I’m walking a minimum of 62 miles in May and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Day 28 - Final Target Distance Reached - 310 miles
Wednesday 28th May Day 28 and I've reached what I set as my final target distance - 310 miles (average of 10 per day over 31 days of May).
Day 23 - Final Target Distance Update to 310 miles
Friday 23rd May Just completed a 6am 5 mile park walk on a fresh, gloriously sunny morning, which took me to my last target of 250 miles, so updating my target distance one final time to 310 miles (which will average 10 miles per day by end of May), to see if I can get there by 31 May.
Day 18 - Afternoon Walk Completed - Updating Target to 250 miles
Sunday 18th May Just completed another 5 miles park walk this afternoon, taking me past my last target of 186 miles (6 miles per day).

Increasing my target distance again - to 186 miles
Tuesday 13th May Still having loads of fun and staying active with regular daily walks and will do so until the end of May for this worthy cause.

Wednesday 7th May As I reached the initial 62 miles at the end of Day 5 have increased my target distance to 100 miles as I continue and will further adjust depending on how well it's going throughout May. Share
