I'm walking 62 Miles in October
I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Aunty Geraldine
Wednesday 1st OctMy lovely Aunty Geraldine was diagnosed with dementia in March 2024 . This devastating disease took a hold over her very quickly. In November 2024 she was taken into hospital and sadly, she rapidly deteriorated. After many attempts to get her back to her family home in swanage, she sadly lost her battle on January 15th 2025. She was such an inspiration to so many. One example was Saving swanage hospital and the endless marches she was involved in to try and save something or someone. She was always looking out for others. This disease, amongst others, is a horrible and heartbreaking way to go but I am so thankful she didn’t suffer anymore. If you could spare anything at all, it would be greatly appreciated. My Mum, friend, Brother and I are all doing this for her. She did so much for others, now it’s our turn to give a little back.
