I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Walking for Dementia UK

Sunday 12th Oct
Nicola, Ruby, Piggie and I took to The Norfolk Coastal Path this weekend walking 23.36 miles further towards the October Dog Walking Challenge to walk 75 miles with our dogs this October and raise money for Dementia UK. 

My Mum, Colleen, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She’s just 68. 

It’s too late for Mum to wind back the clock and live the life she once had, but we hope the money raised so far can provide funds for families affected by dementia.

Even a small amount can help families like ours, but especially to help amazing people like my sister, Kelsey. She is full-time home carer for Mum, along with her husband Lee, daughter Abigail and son Elliot. Those guys, along with my brother and his husband Jason, have all sacrificed so much to give Mum the quality of life she deserves. 

Thank you to everyone who has donated the £1077 we have raised so far. It means a lot to all of us.

And to anyone who can spare a few pounds, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. I’ll walk hard for every mile raised. 🙏🏼
