I'm taking part in the November Swim Challenge
I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
Many people I know love someone who has been affected by this most cruel of conditions, and the impact on those around them can also be huge.
If you would be kind enough to make a donation (however small), that will mean that every length I swim will provide funding to help somebody navigating an emotionally and physically challenging journey with dementia.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support, and £19 will allow 5 different families to be able to access telephone support when they need it.
