75-mile Dog Walking Challenge in honour of my Papa 💜
This October, I’ll be taking on the 75-mile Dog Walking Challenge in honour of my wonderful Papa, who lived with dementia. 💜
Dementia is a cruel disease that slowly takes away the person you love, but it can never take away the memories, the laughter, or the love we shared. Papa was kind, gentle, and always had a sparkle in his eye – and I’m walking every mile with him in my heart.
Every step I take with my best friend Biscuit will be in tribute to him, and to everyone who has been touched by dementia. My hope is to raise awareness and support those who are living with it, as well as their families who walk alongside them every day.
Here’s to 75 miles of love, memories, and paw prints. 🐾💜
