I'm running 100K for Dementia UK

This February, I'm running 100K and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

50K smashed! 💪🏻

Wednesday 12th Feb
Hi everyone!! So after my run this evening I have now reached 50K of my “Run 100K in Feb” in aid of Dementia! It’s been hard going considering I’m NOT a runner at all but I am committed to smashing that target! 💪🏻🥵🏃‍♀️💨

I’ve not been too pushy so far but I am going to be now… PLEASE can I ask you to spare a few £’s and sponsor me for this last hurdle? I would love to obliterate my fund raising target and really feel like I’ve made a wee dent in the fight against such a heartbreaking disease, which is all too common and one I personally fear the most!! 💔

I'm not a runner...

Monday 3rd Feb
I have been running regularly throughout January, and feel I'm getting back into the swing of it, however I am NOT a "runner" I'm not fast by any means! I'm delighted if I can complete each run and hopefully in time shave a min or two off my PB :-)

Day 1 was skipped due to my wee boys Birthday celebrations... First 5K down - 95k to go!!! Lol
