I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

What dementia means to me

Monday 6th Oct
This is an illness that no one can prepare you for. To watch your loved one disappear slowly, forget precious memories and to see the fear they feel in moments of clarity is utterly heartbreaking.
In loving memory of my beautiful Nana Maureen and my wife’s Dad who I sadly never got to meet.
If I can make just a small change to families lives that are affected by dementia then every step and every pound donated is priceless.

Thank you everyone for the donations and all the shares.
