I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK
This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Nana with the pond
Friday 21st AugI’m taking part in a Walking for Dementia challenge for Dementia UK, and I’m doing it for my very special Nana — my “Nana with the Pond.” 💜
At 95, Nana has always loved walking. She used to walk every single day and never complained once. Although she can’t always walk as much anymore, she still loves to dance at home!
She’s funny, fiercely independent and incredibly quick-witted. She still thinks her care home is somewhere she goes to socialise and regularly tries to sneak out to go home — even asking the staff for the door code to help with her escape! 😂
So I’m walking for her, to celebrate all the miles she has walked, the memories she has made and the joy she continues to bring to our family.
Every step is for you, Nana. I love you more than you know. 💜
If you’d like to support me and Dementia UK, I’d be so grateful for any donation. Every little bit helps. 💜
