I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

As most of you are aware I work for a care company called Carebase. I work over 2 homes. One of them being  a dementia specialist care home. And the other one being a nursing home but also providing care for residents living with dementia.
 I have been around the care industry for pretty much all my life. As my mum worked as a carer and is now a home manager. 
My nan was diagnosed with dementia s0me years back and I am very lucky that she lives in one of the care homes I work at. 
Diva is my mums dog and she waits patiently for me every morning to come and get her for a walk. We love walking together. So what better way to raise money for a cause that I care about so deeply by doing something I love...Walking Diva.
