November Knitting Challenge 2026

I'm knitting everyday in November for Dementia UK

This November, I'm taking on the Dementia UK November Knitting Challenge by knitting every day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone.

Dementia affects millions of people, changing lives in ways that can be overwhelming and heartbreaking. That's why I'm supporting Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Their Admiral Nurses provide expert advice, practical support and compassionate guidance to families when they need it most.

Just £33 could fund a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour supporting a family, helping them understand their options, cope with difficult situations and feel less alone.

Thank you for helping me make a difference this November. Your support means so much. 💙

30 days of crochet

Monday 12th Oct
I saw the post and clicked in straight away. We have history of dementia & alzeimers in our family, so this is a no brainer for me! So i crochet as a hobbie, i've made several blankets as gifts for family/friends. I'm in no way an expert, but i'm giving it a go. I've set my fundraising target fairly low as things are tough for everyone, but every £ helps in the end. I'll keep a photo diary and if it turns out ok, i'll try and auction it off for an extra few quid!!

Have changed my mind on what i'm making now! Couldn't decide on a blanket design 😆 i'm going to be making fidget muffs instead, which i'll donate somewhere locally!
