My reason to swim for dementia
Wednesday 8th OctI’ve decided to swim for dementia in honour of my Nan. It was a difficult time for my family, and I’ve also seen close friends go through the same difficult situation. I want to help raise money to support others going through the same experience.
That’s why this swim — and this charity — mean so much to me. Dementia doesn’t just affect the person living with it, but everyone who loves them. If taking part in this event can help support other families facing the same challenges, then I’m happy to do my little bit.
