I'm running 100K for Dementia UK
This February, I am running 100k and raising funds towards Dementia UK and I would be grateful for any support.
I want to do this to spread awareness that dementia can impact individuals and families in numerous different ways.
In 2017, my beloved nan passed away after battling dementia for a few years. Fortunately, we were able to care for her as a family during this time. Whilst my nan suffered with dementia, she was understanding with what was going on around her, but unfortunately could not communicate with us verbally and was unable to look after herself. This was incredibly upsetting and challenging for us as a family.
