I'm walking 62 Miles in October
I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!

Week 2
Tuesday 14th OctStepping Up in Sunny Naples, Florida
There’s something about sunshine that makes movement feel lighter — and in Naples, Florida, every step comes with a little sparkle.
Each day, I’ve been stepping up my steps for dementia, turning daily walks into something that matters beyond the miles. Walking along 5th Avenue, surrounded by palm trees, cafés, and the scent of fresh espresso, it’s easy to keep going just one block more.
Then there’s the beach — that wide stretch of soft sand where the rhythm of the waves keeps pace with your stride. Every step feels like both exercise and reflection.
And for a little air-conditioned walking, the malls of Naples offer their own kind of workout — weaving through shops, climbing escalators, and clocking up thousands of steps before lunch.
Each step helps raise awareness and support for those living with dementia. If you’d like to help, please consider making a donation. Every contribution brings us closer to better care, understanding, and hope.
