I'm taking part in the November Swim Challenge
As a lot of you know I lost my lovely Mum to this cruel illness in March this year and 10 years ago my happy go lucky caring Dad suffered this too.
Part of my healing process I turned back to one of my passions from my childhood which was swimming.
In my 1st 9 weeks of starting back swimming in about 30 years I swam 40 miles. So thought I might as well try to do some good so I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
