I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge but, doubling from 75 to 150 miles!
I’m walking 150 miles (242 kilometers) with one or more of our dogs (sometimes without to avoid breaking them 😂) this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. From family members, close friends to Stan Bowles no.10 of QPR this is an illness that hurts so many people.
Times are still tough for many and never donate when you can't afford to but, if you can....♥️
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you in advance and any sum or amount will be welcomed by me, by the charity and most of all, to those going through this themselves and their family and friends.
It'll help me shifting a bit of timber by making a commitment to something that has touched direct family, close family, friends and the families of my friends.
It does feel at times that we shouldn't need to dip into our pockets to help a charity but, we do and they need a little bit extra..
The wife will be joining me as the fitter other half..😜 (Mrs Motivator (showing my age)) and the hounds will for sure be looking at me as though I'm mad. They're probably right.

Saturday 1st Nov Miles wise….yeah, only ever added specified walks…so, any of you questioners that have a lesser life….😂😂😂🥊 yep, just, just crept over the line.

Friday 24th Oct 8 days and 40.3 miles to go…should have ticked off another 14miles by Sunday evening leaving 36 for the last 5 days..
