I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

after a really slow week because I’ve been knackered I tried to catch up today. A nice 6 mile walk. Safe to say little Tink and I have been exhausted since! The pain has kicked in but I’m hoping I’ll be okay to do another few miles tomorrow before the working week starts again.

Slacking

Thursday 23rd Oct

been a bit of a struggle this week. I’ve started a new job and so have been exhausted so not getting any steps in.

I’ve got 8 days to do 20 miles so an average of 2.5 miles a day. Got a big one planned for Saturday so that will alleviate some of the stress! Not long to go now 😊

Paris mooch

Slightly different walk today as I’m away. So don’t have my dog with me. A lovely mooch around Paris it was. 5 miles done today.

Yesterday was a painful day for me so only managed a small amount, the joys of chronic pain, you never what you’re gunna get day to day!

So I made up for it today 😊
